What Is The Conficker or DownAdUp Worm Virus?

The Conficker Worm Virus, also know as the downadup, is a Trojan worm that was first discovered in late 2008. It is a type of malware that is secretly downloaded to your computers registry when you open an email or visit a website that is setup to infect your computer.

The tricky thing about the Conficker Worm is that anti-virus software was not designed or updated to be able to handle the format of this virus and therefore was no able to recognize when an individuals computer became infected. The virus itself was also programmed to remain dormant until April 1st of 2009.

Luckily tech experts have been able to figure out ways to detect and remove the Conficker virus through the use of removal tools that were created specifically for this virus.
